Why is the bed so cold even though you’re in it
Where is the warmth that once gave me comfort through the windy nights
Sleep hath become a nightmare
My body yearns for that which it hath been deprived of
I am like a river that flows no more
My waters have dried because you drank not from it
My heart beat is like an ache banging against my chest
The flowers that once bloomed have withered away
I wake up cold looking at you lying beside me
And still I shiver
My haven, my sanctuary, where is my respite?
My haven hath gone cold on me and still I stay, why?
For the hope that one day I will be made to feel again
That which I once had , returned to me
That my river shall flow once more , you continuously drinking from it
Never letting it run dry
That I may be enough to satisfy you
The feelings that you once gave to me returned to me
And I shall be made whole again
In my blue haven
